ADDISON, IL, March 12, 2019 – Associated, a provider of integrated supply chain solutions, has donated a Raymond forklift and battery to Hesed House, a non-for-profit organization aimed at feeding the hungry, clothing the naked, sheltering the homeless and giving people the chance to hope again.  Hesed House uses all donated items to serve the needs of homeless individuals in their community.  First, their guests/residents receive all the items they need. Second, excess items may be converted into resources to purchase food, counseling, case management and other services that help end homelessness, one person, one family at a time.  Having a Raymond forklift will help them move product more efficiently and be able to serve more in the community who need assistance.

Jim Krzmarzick, Facilities Director at Hesed House said “There are many great ways people help our organization – big and small.  Today was a big-way day.  We are grateful for Associated’s generous donation and look forward to partnering with them again in the future!”

Associated strongly believes in their responsibility to give back to the community that has supported them over their 58 years in business.  This donation was given as part of their overall corporate social responsibility initiative that aims to support local organizations that make their communities a better place.
