Würth Industries in Des Moines, Iowa bought a new pallet stretch wrapper line from Associated which was installed early this year. Once they had experience using it, they realized that it would be much more effective if they added multiple infeed lanesdfs where operators could redistribute product on multiple pallets to build final orders before sending the completed pallets through the wrapper and out to shipping.

Working with our supplier, Industrial Kinetics, our team quoted the addition of 6 infeed lanes and rearrangement of the existing pallet conveyor load points.

Wurth had one more challenge for us. In late August they told us they needed it to be installed and invoiced by the end of 2023. Casey Wand was able to get a commitment from IK on the schedule, so Wurth got us the PO. With the help of Don Hughes, Casey worked closely with IK to finalize the design and get it approved by the customer.

Factory Acceptance Test

To keep things on schedule, Industrial Kinetics hosted a FAT at their facility on December 5, 2023.

A couple of weeks ago the installation was completed, on time and in budget. Punch list items were minimal and addressed within a few days.
